On this day, one year ago, Rachel, Becca, and I traveled to Chicago to a screening of Until It's Over. UIO was a documentary of Action Item's journey so far as a band. They had a red carpet rolled out at each screening across the country, and five girls in each city were chosen to be the guys' dates. One of the five in Chicago happened to be one of my best friends, and I refuse to let her live it down. The movie was really neat, it opened my eyes to the things Brian, Anthony, Dan, Dave, and Mark went through to get to where they are today. One ticket to the event got you into the movie, a photo with the guys on the red carpet, and a viewing of a Q&A/Acoustic set after the show. Overall a pretty game-changing night/idea for a band like Action Item, and after a weird series of events, I am so glad I was able to have the chance to go. Each time I see these guys, it's a different experience, and I can't wait to see where they progress from here.
